App Store Terms of Sale

Last updated: August 2026

Who these terms cover

These terms apply when you buy or download an Odoo app from pysquad.com/odoo/apps. The seller is PySquad Informatics LLP, A 605, Shilp Aaron, Sindhu Bhavan Road, Ahmedabad, 380054, India. Site-wide Terms of Use and the Privacy Policy also apply. If they conflict on a purchase, these App Store terms control the sale.

By placing an order you confirm you can form a contract, the email you give is yours, and you will use the app for a lawful business purpose.

What you are buying

Each listing is a digital Odoo module. The product page states the app name, technical name, supported Odoo versions, price, license summary, and support window. A purchase covers one listed Odoo major (for example 18.0 or 19.0) for one production database, unless the listing says otherwise.

You receive a zip of that version and a license to install and use it. You do not buy the source as a transferable asset, a SaaS subscription, implementation, hosting, or custom development. Those are separate services.

Price, currency, and taxes

The price on the page is a one-time license fee in the currency shown, usually USD. All published versions of an app use the same price. Free listings have no license fee.

Unless the checkout screen says tax is included, prices are exclusive of VAT, GST, sales tax, and similar charges. If tax is due, it may be added at checkout or remain your responsibility under the rules that apply to you. You are responsible for any bank, conversion, or withholding costs on your side.

Orders and payment

Checkout is completed with the work email you enter. There is no customer account. Paid orders are charged through our payment processor. We do not store full card numbers on our servers. The processor may collect billing details needed to complete the charge, prevent fraud, and meet its own legal duties.

The contract for a paid app is formed when payment is confirmed. Until then the order may stay pending, fail, or be cancelled. We may refuse or reverse an order if payment does not clear, the email cannot be verified, or we suspect fraud or sanctioned use.

When paid checkout is not yet enabled on this site, we will tell you on the app page. In that case no charge is taken online and these payment clauses apply once checkout is live.

Delivery

After a successful paid order, or after a free download request, we create a download grant for that email and that app version. The zip is delivered by a download link sent to the email you used. Delivery is complete when the grant is created and the message is sent. Check spam folders if it does not arrive, then email solutions@pysquad.com.

Links may expire or be limited in use to reduce sharing. Ask us for a replacement if yours stops working and the purchase is valid.

License

Subject to payment (unless the app is free) and these terms, we grant you a:

  • non-exclusive, non-transferable license
  • to install the purchased zip on one production Odoo database
  • for the Odoo major you selected
  • plus related staging or backup copies of that same database

You may not:

  • resell, sublicense, or publish the zip or its source
  • use one purchase on multiple unrelated production databases
  • remove copyright, license, or author notices
  • use the app to build a competing public app store listing of the same module

The listing license type (for example Odoo Proprietary License v1.0) applies in addition to this grant. If that license is stricter, follow the stricter rule.

Support, updates, and demos

Bug-fix support for the purchased major lasts for the window on the product page, usually 12 months from the order date. Support means defects in our unpublished code for that version. It does not include installing the module, training, data migration, or custom features.

We may publish later module versions for the same Odoo major during that window. New Odoo majors are separate listings or version picks and may need a new purchase if the page says so. Live demos, when offered, are for evaluation. Demo data may reset. Demo login details on the page are for the demo only.

Refunds and chargebacks

Digital goods follow our Refund Policy. Opening a chargeback without contacting us first may delay a replacement download while we review the claim with the payment processor.

Acceptable use

You must not use a purchase, demo, or download grant for malware, unauthorized access to systems you do not own, or activity that breaks export or sanctions rules that apply to you or to us. We may suspend a grant if we reasonably believe these terms were broken.

Warranty and liability

Apps are provided as is for business use. We warrant that the zip we deliver matches the Odoo major you paid for and that we have the right to license it. We do not warrant that it will meet every local accounting rule, that it will run with every third-party module, or that Odoo itself is free of defects.

To the extent allowed by law, our total liability for a purchase is limited to the amount you paid for that app version. We are not liable for lost profit, lost data, or indirect loss. Some places do not allow these limits. In those places, our liability is limited to the maximum the law allows.

Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top is the latest version. Orders already paid keep the terms in force on the payment date, except where a change is required by law.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts in Ahmedabad, Gujarat have exclusive jurisdiction, unless a mandatory consumer rule in your country says otherwise.
