Equipment Maintenance (Predictive) extends standard Odoo Maintenance. It does not replace maintenance.equipment or maintenance.request. It is not the IT Equipment Management app (employee laptops and QR assign/release).
Planners set PM plans and meter-based schedules. Technicians work My Work: checklists, meter wizard, breakdown wizard, spare lines. Closing a request can consume stock. Monitoring holds sensors, alerts, and predictive insights. Insights are rule-based from recent readings (settings: IoT simulation, predictive enabled). Convert an insight into a corrective request.
- Asset extras: location tree, criticality, operational status, fleet ref, license plate, barcode, meters, service history.
- PM plans and meter/hours/cycles schedules that create maintenance requests.
- Checklist templates on the request; failure modes.
- Spare BOMs, part lines on the request, optional auto-consume on done, reorder wizard, purchase drafts.
- Simulated IoT readings (demo cron) and rule-based predictive insights with risk score, acknowledge, or convert to a request.
- Dashboard: open work, overdue, downtime, MTTR, MTBF, technician load, low spare stock.
- Roles: User, Technician, Planner, Manager. Mobile RPC on
eqm.mobile.api(sync requests, meters, checklists, barcode search).
Works on Community and Enterprise. Needs Maintenance, Inventory, Purchase, and Discuss. English only. IoT hardware connectors and machine-learning models are out of scope; simulation and rules cover the demo path.
