The Odoo solar EPC management app connects solar leads and surveys with engineering, procurement, installation, and post handover service.
1. Qualify leads and estimate systems
- Record target kWp or usable area, site type, and irradiance zone.
- Generate template based estimates for yield, cost per Wp, simple payback, and CO₂ offset.
2. Survey and document engineering
- Capture site coordinates, checklist results, tilt, shading notes, and map location.
- Store system design details and SLD or layout attachments before approval.
3. Build BOMs and procure materials
- Generate the app's solar bill of materials from estimation lines.
- Create purchase orders grouped by vendor from approved BOM lines.
4. Track installation through commissioning
- Create an Odoo project from a sales order.
- Use installation, punch list, and commissioning checklists before creating the plant record.
5. Manage plants and after sales service
- Track AMC expiry, service tickets, warranty claims, and daily generation readings.
- Review pipeline, delayed projects, open service, and plant performance through the Control Tower and PDF reports.
Compatibility and requirements
Supports Odoo 19 Community and Enterprise on Odoo.sh or on premise. Dependencies include base, Mail, Contacts, CRM, Sales, Project, Purchase, Inventory, Manufacturing, Accounting, HR, Portal, Product, and geolocation support. English only. Website may be needed if portal estimation pages do not open.
Product scope
Generation readings are entered manually; there is no SCADA or inverter API. Estimation uses templates and irradiance zones, not a full shading study. The solar BOM is app specific, not the standard Manufacturing BOM. Customers view estimations after login; there is no public anonymous quotation form.
