Solar EPC Management adds a Solar EPC app for engineering, procurement, and construction of solar plants. It sits on CRM, Sales, Project, Purchase, Inventory, Manufacturing, Accounting, HR, and Portal. It does not replace a shading tool or a live plant logger. Sizing uses your irradiance zones and component templates. Generation is typed in as daily kWh (and optional irradiance), then PR and CUF are calculated.
Typical path: mark a CRM lead as solar (site type, target kWp or area, irradiance zone) → site survey (checklist, tilt, shading, map pin) → Compute estimation → quotation → engineering design (approve, generate BOM, create POs) → project → installation → commissioning → plant. Then AMC, service, warranty, and generation.
- Pipeline: Leads with solar fields. Surveys with checklists and geo coordinates. Estimations: set target kWp or usable area; Compute sizes modules and inverters, explodes templates into priced lines, and shows yearly yield, cost/Wp, simple payback, and CO₂ offset. Create quotation from the estimation. Customers see estimations at /my/solar_estimations after login.
- Engineering: Design record (DC kWp, AC kW, stringing notes, SLD/layout attachments, CEIG notes). Approve, then generate a solar BOM from estimation lines. Approved BOM can create purchase orders grouped by vendor.
- Execution: Sale order can create a solar project. Installation (checklist, punch list) then commissioning (testing checklist) which can create the plant asset.
- Plants and AMC: Plant with DC size. AMC with SLA hours and visit frequency. Daily job marks expired AMC and creates a to-do 30 days before end. Service tickets and warranty claims (file, approve, replace). One generation reading per plant per day.
- Control Tower: Pipeline value, open surveys, delayed projects, punch-list installs, AMC, service, warranty, generation in the period. PDFs for estimation, survey, installation, commissioning, AMC, design, and plant performance.
- Settings: Default DC/AC ratio, module Wp, inverter kW, estimation validity days, CO₂ factor (kg/kWh). Masters: site types, irradiance zones, component categories and templates, checklist templates.
Roles: User, Surveyor, Estimator, Engineer, Project Manager, Technician, Administrator. English only. Multi-company follows company on the records.
