The Odoo vehicle service center app connects appointment booking, vehicle inspection, repair estimates, workshop execution, and customer follow up for independent garages and dealership service departments.
1. Schedule workshop appointments
- Assign bookings to workshop bays and time slots, with planned pickup and delivery details.
- Prevent duplicate active bookings for the same vehicle and slot.
2. Document inspections and repairs
- Use inspection templates with pass, fail, or not applicable results, damage photos, intake signatures, and printable sheets.
- Create repair job cards with tasks, parts, labor, and reusable service templates.
3. Manage estimates and workshop execution
- Create quotations through Odoo Sales and start workshop work after sales order confirmation.
- Reserve parts to workshop locations, record technician time, and enforce configured quality checks or test drive gates.
4. Support customers after service
- Enable website bookings, customer portal access, quotation confirmation, and public status tracking.
- Maintain vehicle service history, odometer records, AMC visit usage, and next service date or kilometer thresholds.
Compatibility and requirements
The listed release is Odoo 19.0. The package depends on Sales, Inventory, Invoicing, Fleet, Website, Portal, SMS, Contacts, Discuss, and web_gantt. The current package requires the Enterprise web_gantt module and will not install on Community as shipped.
Product scope
Fleet linkage is optional, and the workshop uses its own service job cards rather than replacing Odoo Repairs. SMS uses Odoo's standard gateway when enabled. WhatsApp requires provider integration, and some reminder crons need activation after installation.
