About this app

Manage Email Header & Footer adds two company switches in General Settings. Disable Email Header hides the access button on Odoo notification emails (the View Sales Order style button). Disable Email Footer hides the notification footer, including company details and Powered by Odoo. You can use one switch or both. The message body is not rewritten. This applies to mail.thread notification layout. It does not edit each mail template, and it does not control mass mailing or fully custom HTML emails.

    Turn off the notification footer, including Powered by Odoo, independently of the button.

    Header and footer are separate switches. The email body is left as it is.

  • No template editing

    You do not open each mail template. The layout is controlled from Settings.

Manage Email Header & Footer is for teams who want cleaner Odoo notification emails without editing templates. After install, open Settings, General Settings. Under Email Header / Footer Options you get two checkboxes.

Disable Email Header removes the access button in the notification layout (for example View Sales Order). The rest of the message stays. Disable Email Footer removes the notification footer (company lines and Powered by Odoo). Turn on both for a body-only notification.

Changes apply to outgoing mail.thread notifications that use the standard mail notification layout. Your existing email body text is not changed.
