The Odoo car dealership app connects the sales floor with vehicle fulfilment and after sales service. It combines customer leads, VIN based inventory and vehicle handover with a workshop system that uses the same registered vehicle record.
1. Qualify leads and manage test drives
• Record customer interest by brand, model, and new or used vehicle type.
• Schedule test drives against available stock and record outcomes for follow up.
2. Control vehicle stock and sales
• Track individual vehicles by VIN, condition, location and price, with available, reserved and sold statuses.
• Convert CRM opportunities into quotations and sales orders. Optional automatic reservation is available when an order is confirmed.
3. Organize paperwork and delivery
• Track RTO approval, registration details, insurance and finance status on the sales order.
• Follow PDI, readiness and handover stages, with optional inspection notes and customer signatures.
4. Connect delivery to vehicle servicing
• Delivery marks the stock unit sold and creates a registered vehicle record for after sales.
• Open related customer vehicles and service bookings from the sales order.
5. Manage the included workshop
• Handle appointments, inspections, repair job cards, parts, labor, service plans, AMC reminders and customer status tracking.
• Use the workshop dashboard and bay scheduling Gantt for operational visibility.
Compatibility and requirements
The listed release is Odoo 19.0. The shipped bundle requires Enterprise because Vehicle Service Center depends on web_gantt. Other dependencies include CRM, Sales, Inventory, Invoicing, Fleet, Website, Portal and SMS. It is available for Odoo.sh and on premise deployment.
Product scope
The purchase includes both apps for the same Odoo version. The workshop app is not a separate optional download within this bundle, and buying Vehicle Service Center alone does not include the dealership app.
