Attachment Size Limitation adds a size cap to backend file uploads. Use it to keep chatter, binary fields, and other FileUploader widgets from accepting files that are too large for your disk or policy.
In Settings, General Settings, open the Attachment block, enable the limit, choose KB or MB, and enter a positive size. On a user, Preferences, you can set a different size. If the user size is greater than zero, that value is used for that login. If it is zero, the company limit applies when the company option is on. If both are off or zero, uploads are not limited by this module.
When a selected file is too large, Odoo shows a validation message with the file name, the file size, and the allowed size. The file is not saved. Limits apply to new uploads in the backend client. They do not change files that are already attached.
