Insurance ERP extends Odoo Accounting, Contacts, CRM, Sales, Portal, and Website for insurance operations. Journal entries stay native. The suite adds policy, rating, claims, and agency workflow.
Core. Lines of business, products, and a versioned rating table. A submission is rated; the snapshot is frozen when you bind. Underwriting can accept, refer, or decline. Bind creates the policy, GWP/NWP, a premium invoice, and an unearned entry if accounts are mapped. A daily cron can earn premium on a 365-day pro-rata. Endorsements create a new policy version and bill or credit the delta. Cancel or lapse can credit unearned premium. Reinsurance supports quota share, surplus, excess of loss, facultative, and bordereau. Insurance Command Center is the OWL operations tower. Claims. FNOL from the back office or the signed-in portal (/my/insurance/fnol and /my/insurance/claims). Coverage is checked against the policy snapshot. Investigation, assessment, and an append-only reserve history. Indemnity and expense payments post as account.move. Subrogation, salvage, and reinsurance recovery reduce net incurred. Fraud and medical lines can be restricted by group. Claims Command Center is a separate OWL tower. Website is required for the FNOL portal.
Distribution. Agencies, agents, licenses, CRM stages, quotes that convert to submissions, renewal campaigns, commission schedules, accruals, clawbacks, and statements. Public form /insurance/quote. Agent portal /my/insurance/quotes and /my/insurance/commissions. Policyholder portal /my/insurance/policies. Distribution Board is the commercial OWL view.
