Printing Press ERP is a print-shop layer on standard Odoo CRM, Sales, Manufacturing, Inventory, and Accounting. A public Get a Quote form lands as a CRM inquiry. The estimator builds a costed print estimation (paper, imposition, wastage, setup and run cost), then creates a Sale Order in one click. Confirmed orders become manufacturing job cards with plates, artwork, deadlines, and shop-floor notes.
The module is for commercial printers, in-plant shops, and pre-press teams that quote catalogues, brochures, flyers, labels, and similar jobs. Customers track inquiries, quotations, jobs, and artwork from the portal. Internal users work from a Control Tower: pipeline value, production pulse, overdue jobs, plate stock, and financials, with date presets and drill-down into the matching lists.
- Public Get a Quote form and inquiry kanban on CRM leads (print inquiries stay filterable from the regular pipeline).
- Print estimation lines: product, paper spec, up-per-sheet, wastage %, sheet calculation, cost vs. selling price.
- One-click Sale Order from a sent or approved estimation; confirm the order to drive MRP production.
- Plates as shop assets (available, in use, scrap) with label and inventory reports.
- Artwork records with versions and customer Approve Artwork on the portal (token link works without login).
- Print tab on the manufacturing order: deadline, plates, artwork, estimated vs. actual cost, quality checkpoint, reprint wizard.
- Optional block: do not mark the manufacturing order done until quality is checked.
- Control Tower OWL dashboard with light/dark toggle, charts, and alerts.
- PDF reports: quotation, job slip, production summary, cost sheet, plate label, plate inventory, artwork approval sheet.
- Roles: Printing Press User and Administrator, plus portal isolation by partner/email. Multi-company on print models.
Works on Community and Enterprise. Needs Website (public form), CRM, Sales, Inventory, Manufacturing, and Invoicing. English only in this zip (no translation files yet).
